Coping Center Stegherr Type KF with tool changer

The Coping Center type KF is a machining center for cutting to length, coping an drilling of casement and frame profiles.

The machine ensures absolutely tear free end scribing by means of two HSK 63 counterrotating milling spindles with servo controlled height adjustment, which can hold up to three tooling sets.

Automatic glue injection and dowel insertion High pressure glue station with electronically controlled glue injection. Dowel insert system with dowel conveyor and sorting device.

Processing of workpiece ends Coping with different tooling sets, drilling, glue and dowel insertion.
Longside All drillings for the screwed or dowelled joints are program controlled (optionally with drillings for spacer blocks). The longside profiled stock is cut to length by a cross cut saw.

Automatic tool changer With two additional tooling spindles which can be replaced fully automatically, the machine will produce up to 60 window casements and frames in any order and without any change over times.

The new user friendly software ensures easy operation – both in the manual and in the online mode.

In combination with one of the machining centers for drilling, milling and dowelling type FD/E2 or BBF, it is possible to make all operations on the long side as well. The machine works with longside profiled bars in original size.

The Coping Center type KF can be equipped with additional drilling units in various sizes, for the program controlled drilling of components for dowelled or screwed joints (optionally with spacer blocks holes) and special drilling requirements, both in the long side or in the components’ ends.
