The KSS makes the cut

The KSS is the program controlled V-Notching Saw for the accurate and high performance cutting of profiles of  wood, aluminum, MDF or PVC– with a fix angle V-cut, in ONE single working cycle.

 

The KSS can produce glazing beads, door profiles, rain protection rails, picture frames etc.

Operation & control

The completely in-house developed and programmed machine software is continuously adapted by us to new hardware and customer requirements. The user guidance is simple; manual operation via touchscreen or online control is very intuitive. The interface is largely language-independent. Programming skills are not required.

Automation

Flexible expansion levels allow for a perfect automation upgrade to fully automatic operation. This can be done with program-controlled workpiece feeds (for example horizontal infeed conveyors) and workpiece outfeed devices (for example outfeed tables or belts) as well as special custom solutions.

Accurate V-notch in ONE pass

The cutting angle of the notch is defined by the arrangement of the saw blades. First and end cut are done in one single working cycle.

Automation

The machine can be upgraded to fully automatic operation with an infeed conveyor.

The design of the conveyor belts is adapted to the customer’s profiles.

The magazine has an integrated adjustment option which makes it possible to use the belts for a variety of profiles.

Accurate positioning

A sliding carriage (NC-Stop) pushes the workpiece exactly to the programmed position.

The workpiece length detection determines the length of the infeeding workpiece to a tenth. The machine control then carries out all the necessary calculations with optionally available software modules in order to achieve optimal utilization of the bars and a perfect production process.

Optional software modules are for example:

  • “Production optimization”
  • “Fill piece”
  • “Cyclic production”

Perfect for frames and moldings

Thanks to its speed and precision the KSS is ideal for the series production of picture frames, even from small profiles. High-quality finished surfaces are cut without tearing and make a perfect frame for any picture.

Defect detection and length optimization are available as optionals.

Labelling & engraving

The workpieces can be marked directly, in the same pass, with a laser or inkjet printer - or with difficult to print materials - also with an engraving unit.

As an inexpensive alternative, we also offer a label printer.

All variants are compatible with the machine software and tailored to your specification and requirements.
