NC Mitre Saws for Profiled Bars
STEGHERR types GLS and GLS-2
The NC Mitre Saws STEGHERR type GLS and GLS-2 for profiled bars can mitre-cut glazing beads, weather bars or similar profiles of wood, aluminum or PVC at any angle between +45° and –45°.
Available with additional work units for punching, drilling, sawing and milling
NC Mitre Saw GLS-2 in special execution for processing of aluminium workpieces
The GLS is also available for cutting angles up to +/-81°.
The GLS mitre saw cuts in one plane and the cutting angles are set either pneumatically or over programmable servo controlled axes. The GLS-2 can cut in two planes and the adjustment of the cutting angles is done over servomotor controlled axes in the machine program.
The cutting stroke speed can be regulated pneumatically or over servo controlled axes. A NC pusher guarantees an absolutely accurate positioning of the profiles.
The machine can be upgraded to fully automatic operation by mounting customized workpiece conveyors. The versatility can be further expanded by the fitting of punching or drilling units for special applications or by connecting label, inkjet or laser printers.
Operator friendly machine program for easy operation both in the manual and the online mode.
